You are not learning Turkish for a holiday. You are learning it because you live here, and because switching to English every time gets old.

You understand more Turkish than you can say
You can read the menu, follow the dizi with subtitles, and catch most of what the kapıcı says. Then someone asks you a question and it all goes. That gap is not a knowledge problem — it is a practice problem.

Turkey has free Turkish courses — Halk Eğitim Merkezi and municipal programmes. If you have never taken a structured course, one of those is a reasonable place to start, and we will say so if it fits you better. What they rarely give you is a small group where you spend most of the hour speaking. That is the part we do.

Lessons are run together with AHK Academy — their teachers take the sessions, we place you in the right group.
