How do I find ARC readers before launch?

Start 6–8 weeks out. You want 20–30 committed readers to end up with 8–12 reviews — expect roughly a third to follow through, and that's normal, not failure. Where they come from, in the order that actually works: your own email list and social following first (highest follow-through by far); genre-specific Facebook and Reddit groups where you've already been a participant, not a stranger; BookSirens or Booksprout if you want to pay for reach; and Goodreads groups for your genre. Two things that matter: ask for an honest review, never a positive one — Amazon removes incentivised reviews and can pull your listing. And send a reminder three days before launch, because most people mean to and forget.
